Potts Camp archery team finishes second in state

The Potts Camp High School archery team wrapped up a successful season last week by finishing as state runner-up.

The Marshall Academy varsity girls claimed top honors Wednesday, April 3, in the Marshall Invitational Track Meet.
So many things I never expected to see, hear or write when I started writing about sports more than half a century ago. Here is just a sampling:
Potts Camp dominated cross-county rival H.W. Byers on the baseball diamond last week, got a win over Strayhorn and lost at Ingomar.
Marshall Academy hosted the Patriot Relays, varsity and junior high, on Wednesday of last week with lots of Lady Patriots and Patriots receiving ribbons.
