Twelve Marshall Academy athletes are advancing to the Class AA State Track and Field Meet this weekend at Jackson.
The plan seemed a sound one to this wizened sports writer. Mississippi State’s Jake Mangum had pulled to within four hits of the all-time Southeastern Conference hits record.
Several Marshall Academy athletes are advancing to the Class AA North State Track Meet in Clarksdale.
Marshall Academy closed its baseball season last week with a win and a loss and fell short of the playoffs, but it was a season of growth.
