I was so very saddened to read in last week ’s newspaper about the death of Versie Turnage. Many years ago during a political campaign, I wound up on Miss Versie’s doorstep.
Mother Nature sure made her mind up quickly that it was summer time over the weekend.
With all of the unrest our country faces, it is nice to see our community helping one another.
