There was an error in the cutline of a front page photo in the Sept. 12, 2019, issue of The South Reporter, accompanying the article headlined “Project preserves history of schools.” Second from left in the photo, helping unveil the Rosenwald School historic marker, is Lemuel Walls, of Flint, Mich. The South Reporter appreciates Walls for calling the newspaper’s attention to this error, and the staff apologizes for the mistake. The South Reporter is glad to set the record straight.
