The Mississippi Association of Supervisors Minority Caucus recently held its annual conference in Holly Springs. The three-day meeting was hosted by Rust College.

The department is looking for people willing to learn about firefighting and who want to further their knowledge as classes are made available. Those interested in serving as volunteer firemen must have a valid driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance, no prior convictions, and must be at least 18 years old. |
All-day shift and night shift workers are welcome. The department needs people available to help 24 hours a day in case of a call. |
Meetings are held the first and third Thursdays of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the fire department, located behind the community center. |
