| The Blue versus Red basketball game is set for Thursday, Dec. 21, at the old intermediate school, 210 West Valley Street. |
| The game will feature the Holly Springs Police Department versus the Holly Springs Fire Department. |
| The doors will open at 5 p.m. The game will start around 6 p.m. |
| The fire department will perform free blood pressure checks. There will be free pizza and prizes while they last. |
The Marshall Academy boys will play next week in the Magnolia Heights Christmas Classic.
Coach Kevin Jones had been looking for the H.W. Byers Lady Lions to put it all together. They did just that Friday night.

| The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 27, and Thursday, Dec. 28. |
| Coach Traci Rodgers’ Lady Patriots will face Pontotoc on the first day of the Christmas Classic at 3:45 p.m. and then they will meet the host school the next day at 5 p.m. |
| After that two-day event, the MA girls will get some practice time before visiting Winona Christian for a district clash on Tuesday, Jan. 9. |
