Basketball season draws near

Basketball cranks up this week with some Marshall County teams participating in the Independence Jamboree Saturday.
Coaches from Holly Springs, H.W. Byers and Potts Camp will all get a first look at their 2017-2018 teams at the jamboree.
Then the real season tips off the following week. Potts Camp visits Pine Grove and Marshall Academy (girls only) goes to Marvell November 2. Byhalia plays in the Olive Branch Classic November 4 and 7. Potts Camp hosts Hernando November 7. Byers hosts Byhalia and also Holly High faces Lake Cormorant at the Landers Center November 10.
