Lady Hawks lose to Olive Branch 50-16

Holly Springs Lady Hawks traveled to Olive Branch Thursday, Nov. 17.

The Lady Conquistadors took the lead in the first quarter as the Lady Hawks tried to recover in the second quarter but were unsuccessful. The score at halftime was 26-7.

Lady Hawks fought to score but the Olive Branch kept hitting the net all night.

The Lady Conquistadors’ top scorers were Madison Young, 13, and Briana Black 11. Zyaire Walker and Kylah Richmond scored six points

each; Krossby Jones and Lorah Lawrence scored four points each; Kennedy Smith, Kimberly Hooker and Makayla Lindsey scored two points each.

Lady Hawks Chamilya Watson and Janya Bohanna scored seven points each and Shakinah Clark hit the net with two points.

The Hawks lost to the Conquistadors 50-16.

The Lady Hawks will play Booneville Blue Devils Thursday, Nov. 29, on their home court.
