Cora Lee Briggs, 88, of Holly Springs, died Oct. 28, 2016. The widow of Theodore “Jake” Briggs, they were married 65 years.

Melvin DuRelle “Buddy” Brown Jr., 18, of Holly Springs, died Oct. 25, 2016. He was a student at Holly Springs High School.
Maynord “Lynn” Cox, 72, of Byhalia, died Nov. 7, 2016, in Byhalia. A Christian, he was a farmer and a master mechanic.
Billy Thomas Fant, 76, of Holly Springs, died Nov. 1, 2016. He was retired from the U.S. Navy. He was an Episcopalian.
Clarence Lee “Mickey” Green, 76, of Senatobia, died Oct. 29, 2016, at Hospice House in Southaven.
