Special agents from the Office of the State Auditor (OSA) arrested Elijah Wilson, former coordinator of the North Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers (NCMCS), after being indicted on
Billy Blaylock and Palmer Hagestrom have purchased the home of the late Mary Walker Gatewood and Frances Gatewood.
| Wendy Marie Warren, 37, of the Parker Cove area in Marshall County, died in a single-vehicle accident Sunday, according to coroner James Richard Anderson. |
| The accident took place on Parker Road, off Mt. Zion Road in the Byhalia area. |
| He said a 911 call came in at 8:43 p.m. July 2 and he pronounced Warren dead on the scene at 9:21 p.m. |
| Anderson said it appeared Warren lost control of her 2007 Ford in the curve of the road. The vehicle turned over and she was ejected from the car, he said. |
The fourth annual fireworks celebration, also a kickoff for Bikers and Blues, drew an attendance of more than 3,000, said mayor Kelvin Buck.
The Potts Camp Mustangs and Byhalia met in 12-year-old action on the diamond in June.
