A burglary alarm was set off August 28 at The Green Store, 1364 Highway 309 South near Byhalia, according to sheriff Kenny Dickerson.
Investigators are looking for two males who entered the store at about 12:35 a.m. after using a tire tool to break in the front door, he said. The suspects were wearing masks or hoodies, he said.
The suspects jumped over the counter and took the cash drawer out of the register, he said. The drawer was later found on the side of the road near the Town of Byhalia.
