Byhalia police respond to 37 calls

The Byhalia Police Department responded to 37 calls during the past week.
Chief Gary Looney released the following report – alarm calls, 1; animals, 1; assists, 1; disturbances, 4; domestic, 1; DUI, 1; escorts, 2; fires, 2; medical, 7; miscellaneous, 15; motor vehicle accidents, 2.
Byhalia police officers also made one arrest during the past week, according to Chief Looney.

One killed in I-22 crash

A man driving a pickup truck was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday, Oct. 2, around 6:30 a.m. on I-22, according to Marshall County Coroner James Richard Anderson.
