Wall Doxey Park celebrates 80th

Friends of Wall Doxey State Park and their guests celebrated the 80th anniversary of the founding of the park June 9.

Byhalia police respond to disturbances, alarms, more

The Byhalia Police Department responded to 29 calls during the past week.
Chief Gary Looney released the following report summarizing the week – alarm calls, 4; animals, 1; assists, 2; disturbances, 2; domestic, 1; escorts, 1; fires, 1; harassment, 1; medical, 6; miscellaneous, 5; motor vehicle accidents, 2; thefts, 1; trespassing, 2.
Byhalia police officers also made four arrests during the past week, according to Chief Looney.
