Byhalia police officers respond to 37 calls

The Byhalia Police Department responded to 37 calls during the past week.
Chief Gary Looney released the following report – alarm calls, 4; assists, 3; disturbances, 3; escorts, 2; fires, 6; harassment, 1; medical, 9; miscellaneous, 5; motor vehicle accidents, 2; thefts, 2.
Byhalia police officers also made seven arrests during the past week, according to Chief Looney.
