Byhalia police respond to 26 calls

The Byhalia Police Department responded to 26 calls during the past week.
Chief Gary Looney released the following report – miscellaneous, 4; escorts, 3; thefts, 1; motor vehicle accidents, 2; assists, 1; fires, 2; damaged property, 1; medical, 8; and alarm calls, 4.
Byhalia police officers also made one arrest during the past week, according to Chief Looney.
