The H.W. Byers Lions have hired coach Lonnie Johnson from Greenville as their new Head football coach. The new coach replaced coach Chris Daniels, who filled the Potts Camp High School vacancy.
Recent storms and resulting power outages prompted a mini-vacation of sorts to New Orleans, not that I need a good excuse to head that way.

Potts Camp Blazers finished first place in the Marshall County Sports Association league and first place in the post-season tournament.
