It was a special season for coach Sam Pearson and his Marshall Academy Patriots.
Ashland scored 42 of its 68 points in the second half in the Class 1A quarter-finals at Mississippi Coliseum.
The Marshall Academy Lady Patriots just couldn’t get on track in the opening round of the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools Overall Tournament.
