Indians lose two to Ripley

The Byhalia Indians, continuing their rebuilding process, saw plenty of positive in a loss Friday at Ripley.
Coach Hunter Gore’s team led the highly-ranked and district-leading Tigers 5-3 after five innings before giving up seven runs in the sixth and falling 10-5.
“I was super proud of my guys,” said Gore, whose team had fallen 12-1 in five innings to Region 1-4A foe Ripley earlier in the week at home. “This was the best we’ve ever played against Ripley. It was a great game. Hats off to Ripley; they are a very good baseball team.
