H.W. Byers drops two to Alcorn Central

H.W. Byers basketball teams dropped a pair of games at home Friday night to end the regular season.
The Lady Lions fell 64-11 to Alcorn Central. Dallas Fitzpatrick scored 10 of Byers’ 11 points.
The Lions lost a close one, 45-42, to the Bears. Kaderious Rhyan had 10 points for Byers.
The Lady Lions (0-23) and the Lions (4-19) opened play in the District 1-2A Tournament on Monday night of this week at Man­tachie.

Potts Camp continues sign-up

Registration will be held every Saturday in February for Potts Camp Sports Association T-ball, baseball and softball. Sign-up is set from 10 a.m. to noon at the Potts Camp Fire Station.
Please bring birth certificate of each child (ages 3-12). Deadline to register is February 28.
Umpires are also needed (ages 16-70). Please visit on one of the registration dates or contact Blake at 662-278-9284.
