We blinked and suddenly it is November. The long hot summer days are behind us for now. The week was a rainy and cold one for sure.

Never been much for horticultural rules, choosing instead to do as I please in my small home grounds.
Thursday I was able to assist with registration at the Byhalia Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament at Kirkwood in Holly Springs.
My simple scarecrow, a ragged revenant tattered from a long season of fickle weather, is ready to be put to rest.
