John Lewis Elliott, 81, of Ashland, died Jan. 2, 2018, at Baptist Hospital in New Albany. He retired in 2012 as a truck driver for Big M Trucking in Blue Mountain.
Melvin Lewis Garrison, 53, of Byhalia, died Jan. 3, 2018, at his home. He retired from St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. in 2015, as a janitor.
Evelyn Arie Ingram Haynes, 75, of Memphis, Tenn., died Jan. 6, 2018, in St. Louis, Mo. She was a retired school teacher for the St. Louis County School District.
Tyler Lewis King, 62, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Senatobia, died Dec. 31, 2017, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis. He was a construction worker for Lehman Roberts Co.
Candra Tinell Mays, 29, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Byhalia, died Jan. 1, 2018. She was a general manager for Domino’s Inc.
