Lizzie Campbell Snow

Lizzie Campbell Snow, 95, of Lamar, died April 10, 2018, at Baptist Hospital in Collierville, Tenn. She was the widow of Elijah Snow.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on April 17 at Kimbrough Chapel MB Church in Lamar. Burial was in Roberts Chapel CME Church Cemetery in Lamar. Rev. J.W. Smith and Apostle Joseph McKinney officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves four daughters, Lula Mae McKinney (Archie Lee), Vorice McKinney (Robert Lee), Arlean Bell (Alvin), all of Slayden, Rosemary Rhine of Memphis, Tenn.; and sons, Bobby Snow (Sheila), Q.C. Snow (Easter), both of Memphis, Larry Snow (Ernestine) of Slayden, Willie Snow (Paula) of Holly Springs, Henry McKinney of Chicago, Ill.; 78 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Larrine Hampton (James), a son, Eddie B. Snow, three infant children, “Big Boy,” Elijah Jr. and Agnes and siblings Eddie Campbell, Richard Campbell, Forest Campbell, Horace Campbell, Freddie Campbell, Broddie Campbell, Easter Johnson, Nellie Sherman, Gertrude Williams, Inez Catron, and Lottie Campbell.
