The Holly Springs Utility Department’s bad debt ratio has dropped by 20 percent this year, according to general manager Bill Stone.

Shinkina and Josephus Clark were promoted recently in martial arts, a program that has been active at the Holly Springs Parks and Recreation Department since April.

| The driver of the vehicle was transported to Methodist Olive Branch Hospital, he said, and then later was transferred to Regional One Health Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn. |
| Anderson said the vehicle left the road and came to rest on its side in a drainage ditch. |
