Everyone looks up to someone. We have all admired someone who is strong and encourages people, who is smart but knows a good joke, who loves life and life loves them back.
September is a month that I embrace. I wait, with everyone else, as the season begins to change and the temperatures drop. I love the crisp fall air and the smell of pumpkin spice and apple cider.
A clarion call by Gov. Tate Reeves, Speaker Philip Gunn and many other Republicans is that Mississippi should emulate Tennessee and eliminate the income tax.
