Henderson Miller, 82, of Waterford, died Sept. 5, 2017. The widower of Nannie Mae Jones Miller, he was employed at Sunbeam for over 30 years, until its closing.

Stanley Payne, 56, of Holly Springs, died Sept. 8, 2017, at Holly Springs Health and Rehab. A church usher, he was a graduate of Holly Springs High School.
Carolyn Holt Phillips, 88, of Hot Springs, Ark., died Sept. 8, 2017, in Hot Springs. She was the widow of Randolph Holt and Dave Phillips and a Baptist.
Lowell Russell Jr., 74, of Ashland, died Sept. 4, 2017, at Ashland Health and Rehab. An Air Force veteran, he was a Baptist and a general maintenance worker.
Lynda Renea Elam Sweeney, 30, of Byhalia, died Sept. 1, 2017, in an auto accident at Hwy. 309 and Hwy. 302 in Byhalia. She was employed with McDonald’s in Olive Branch.
