Patrick McGee has been commissioned by the Byhalia Arts Council to paint this mural on the side of the Byhalia library. A reception will be held in September to dedicate it.

Sewing classes have resumed at the Marshall County Extension Office. The project is to create a Bargello Flag that will be framed and displayed on a wall.
Holly Springs City Clerk Belinda Sims Hollowell turned in her resignation effective July 30 in an open letter to the mayor and board of aldermen.
There will be three new mayors in Marshall County when July rolls around.
