The unidentified skeletal remains of a person were discovered by kids riding in the woods on a four-wheeler Saturday, according to sheriff Kenny Dickerson.

The Marshall County Foresty Association recently completed its 22nd year. The organization is 176 members strong, according to Vic Stilwell, outgoing president of the association.
Relay For Life of Marshall County will meet Thursday, Feb. 2, at 5:15 p.m. for team captains and committee chairs. The meeting will be held at the Marshall County Library.
