A Holly Springs man turned himself in to sheriff Kenny Dickerson about mid-morning Saturday at the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, regarding the death of his brother.

| Byhalia police also made two arrests during the past week, according to Chief Looney. |
| A two-vehicle accident on I-269 North, near the Highway 302 on-ramp, claimed the life of a 12-year-old boy Thursday of last week, according to coroner James Richard Anderson. |
| He said an SUV driven by Nicholas Yeager Sr. entered I-269 and ran into the back of a metal trailer being pulled by a pickup. The driver lost control, and his Dodge Durango left the road and flipped, Anderson said. |
| Nicholas Yeager Jr. was pronounced dead on the scene by the coroner, who was called to the area at 11:59 a.m. July 6. |
| The Yeagers were from the Hernando address area, the coroner said. |
| The driver of the pickup was not injured, according to Anderson. |
Officers with the Holly Springs Police Department recently made two felony arrests, according to chief Dwight Harris.
