Change is coming to Galena School with the start of a new year. It will be a K-6 school rather than K-8.
The U.S. Marshals Service’s Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (Oxford Division) Wednesday, July 26, arrested a man wanted by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department for a December 2016 murder in Slayden.
The severely decomposed body of an Arkansas man was found by fishermen in shallow waters at Chewalla Lake Saturday morning, according to sheriff Kenny Dickerson.
