Retired Marshall County Tax Assessor and Collector Bobby Fant died Saturday at home following a prolonged fight with cancer.
| Alton Veon Allen, 80, of 539 Clear Creek Road, was killed in a two-car accident at the intersection of Highway 72 and Clear Creek Road. |
| Coroner James Richard Anderson said the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, and he pronounced Allen dead at the scene. |
