The City of Holly Springs mayor and board of aldermen heard proposals for grant writing services from Clencie Cotton and Charles Williams, both with Rust College.
A shooting in the area of North Center Street Tuesday night, Oct. 31, took the life of a Marshall County man, according to Holly Springs Police Chief Dwight Harris.
A man facing three murder charges has escaped from the Marshall County Jail and remained on the run as of press-time Tuesday, according to sheriff Kenny Dickerson.
Marshall County School District Superintendent Lela Hale reported to the board of supervisors recently on the district’s finances and needs.
