Janya Roland, a resident living near the dead end of Lundine Road, was back before the board of supervisors a second time, pleading with the county to take over the private road.
The Byhalia Police Department responded to 31 calls last week. Chief Gary Looney released the following report – alarm calls, 2; animals, 1; assists, 2; disturbances, 3; escorts, 1; medical, 9; miscellaneous, 9; motor vehicle accidents, 2; thefts, 2. Byhalia police officers also made two arrests last week, according to Chief Looney.
Voter participation was up statewide November 6 for a midterm election, and the same held true in Marshall County.
