Potts Camp eliminated with loss at Baldwyn in game two

Potts Camp saw its baseball season come to an end Monday with a 10-0 loss to Baldwyn on the road, giving the Bearcats a sweep of the Class 2A playoff series.
The Cardinals got hits from Dylan Minor and Kalif Alford in the top of the first but couldn’t produce any runs. Zach Humphreys led off the second with a hit but again no Potts Camp runners could reach home.
Baldwyn went up 2-0 in the bottom off the second, but the Bearcats’ big inning was the fourth when the offense really cranked up and they scored seven runs. They added one in the sixth.
Ben Shaw doubled in the third for Potts Camp.
Minor took the pitching loss. Shaw threw in relief.
