Holly Springs High School’s former Dandy Dozen and now Virginia’s Radford University’s Highlander DaQuan Smith was named Second Team All-Big South.

Six Holly Springs High School Lady Hawks advanced to the North Half powerlifting competition March 1 at Mantachie. They qualified by achieving medals at the Girls Region 2-3A meet. North Half qualifier

Brandon Lester, a senior at Holly Springs High School, placed third in the Region 2-3A powerlifting competition (165 class). He qualified for the North Half Meet but could not participate due to an injury.
