Walton places in top three

Germani Walton is a member of the speed-unit Amateur Athletic Union Track Team. This is her first year competing and she is in the spotlight. Her official time in the 50meter dash was 10.18; the 100-meter dash, 19.80; and the 200-meter dash, 43.57. She placed in the top three in each race.

Walton loves to run with her friends and godsister.

“We are extremely excited to see where the track takes us,” Walton’s parents, Marquaveus and Jada Walton, said. “It makes us feel great, because we both are athletes, and we are both super competitive. It’s makes us feel great because she following in our footsteps. We are the loudest in the stands supporting our baby girl.”
