Smith signs with European Club

Holly Springs great Daquan Smith is taking his talents to Europe, to become a professional basketball player for club “Valmiera Glass Via” of the ENBL” European North Basketball League.”

Smith had a stellar collegiate career which led to his professional signing with the club. Smith is coming off a season where he averaged 15 points a game along with three rebounds and two assists per game. Smith received all Big South honors two consecutive seasons in a row 2022-23 season and 2023-24 season. It’s a dream come true for Smith “I just wanted to thank God first off because without Him this wouldn’t have happened. I want to thank my family and friends for always sticking by my side through the good and bad. Also want to thank all my coaches and everyone that still supports me.”
