Potts Camp saw its baseball season come to an end Monday with a 10-0 loss to Baldwyn on the road, giving the Bearcats a sweep of the Class 2A playoff series. |
The Cardinals got hits from Dylan Minor and Kalif Alford in the top of the first but couldn’t produce any runs. Zach Humphreys led off the second with a hit but again no Potts Camp runners could reach home. |
Baldwyn went up 2-0 in the bottom off the second, but the Bearcats’ big inning was the fourth when the offense really cranked up and they scored seven runs. They added one in the sixth. |
Ben Shaw doubled in the third for Potts Camp. |
Minor took the pitching loss. Shaw threw in relief. |
