Patriots split with Central Holmes

The Marshall Academy baseball team split a doubleheader at home Thursday.

MA beat District 1-AA foe Central Holmes 10-0 and then lost the second game 11-4.

Coach Jon Mungle’s Patriots scored 10 runs on eight hits in the first game of the twinbill.

Darian Houston carried the hottest bat. He was two for three with a triple and three runs-batted-in.

Tyler Bolden was two for three with an RBI.
