Patriots lose to Oak Hill, three public schools

The toughness of Marshall Academy’s baseball scheduled didn’t wait around.
The Patriots opened with losses to two public schools – 3A Alcorn Central and 4A Corinth. They also dropped two games to District 1-AA foe Oak Hill and one to 5A public school Lafayette.
In an 8-5 loss to Alcorn Central on Saturday, March 3, Tyler Bolden and Darian Houston each had a pair of hits with one of Houston’s being a double. Wyle McMillen added a home run.
MA had eight hits, committed for four errors and left 11 runners on base.
Marshall then fell 7-6 to Corinth.
