No. 1 Cougars roll past Hawks

Holly Springs had the unenviable task of facing the number one team in the state Friday night.

The Hawks, on the road at North Panola, fell to Class 3A’s top-ranked Cougars 57-0.

“My kids were beat before they got there,” coach Donald Deans said. “That’s just how it was. Even though North Panola is an excellent football team, I was disappointed with our effort.”
