Marshall Academy started a new baseball season last week against some top-notch competition.
The Patriots lost to the defending Class 1A champion in the Mississippi High School Activities Association and then dropped a pair to 4A and 3A public schools Corinth and Alcorn Central, respectively.
MA committed 11 errors and had only three hits in a 15-5 setback at Tupelo Christian Thursday.
