Marshall Lady Pats beat North Delta on Senior Night

The Marshall Academy softball team ended its regular season with a 10-run victory on Senior Night.
The Lady Patriots routed North Delta 11-1 on Tuesday, Sept. 19, in Holly Springs.
Hannah Swallers and Hannah Champion shared the pitching time. Swallers pitched the first, fourth, fifth and sixth innings and finished with 11 strikeouts. Champion pitched the second and third innings and gave up just one earned run.
Carrying the big bats were Alexis McGreger, Champion and Tyler Vannucci, each with three hits. Swallers, Erin Lomenick and Baylee Floyd added two hits each. Jessica Deming had a triple.
