Marshall Academy Lady Patriot players earn post-season honors
Several Marshall Academy Lady Patriots received post-season recognition after an outstanding season that included District 1-3A and North State championships.
Gracie Rappa was named the district’s most valuable player. Joining her on the all-district squad were Charlie Johnson, Eliza Cavender, Aurora Cervantes and Kyleigh Milliorn. Selected as honorable mention all-district were Luci Tomlinson, Aubrey Brigance, Azley Ashby and Kendall Matthews.
Three Lady Patriots, Cervantes, Johnson and Rappa, played in the Mid-South Association of Independent Schools All-Star game on October 15 at Jackson Prep, while Milliorn participated in the Futures Game the same day, also at Jackson Prep.
Also the association recently released its Class 3A Fast-Pitch All-MAIS team and Marshall players honored were Rappa and Milliorn.
