MAIS all-star
Marshall Academy senior Rod’Drickous Moore played in the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools All-Star Basketball Game Thursday, March 11. Moore scored 12 points in his team’s 94-90 win in the Classes 3A-5A contest. He hit a free throw with 25 seconds remaining to push the lead to 92-90. Moore helped lead the Patriots to a District 1-3A championship in the 2020-2021 season, a runners-up finish in North State and a trip to the State Tournament. “He was a pleasure to coach,” Macoach Craig Dailey said about Moore. “He bought into what I was selling on the defensive end before anyone else. We have big shoes to fill next year in the `stopper’ role. I can’t wait to see what he does with his life, but I know he will represent ‘We Believe’ well.”
