MA knocks off Hickory Flat

The Marshall Academy Patriots picked up their first win of the baseball season Monday, March 12, at home.
Coach Jon Mungle’s MA team knocked off Hickory Flat 10-0 in a private school versus public school match-up.
MA’s Brandon Daughtry pitched the complete game for the win. He struck out 10 and gave up just one hit.
The Patriots had 10 runs on 10 hits. Leading the way was Darian Houston, who went two for three from the batter’s box with a double and two runs-batted-in.
