MA jr. high boys win district crown

The Marshall Academy junior high boys brought home the District 1-AA track championship last week.

The meet was held at Lee Academy in Clarksdale on April 12.

The Patriots tied with West Memphis Christian (Ark.), each with 71 points. Lee Academy (Ark.) was second with 70 points.

The MA junior high girls finished third. Lee was first and Delta second.

Several Marshall athletes earned points for their team by finishing in the top five of the various events.
