MA gets on track in victory

A slow start turned into a strong finish for the Marshall Academy Patriots Friday night.

Things started clicking for MA in the second quarter at home versus Falkner and they went to clip the Eagles 28-6.

“We played hard and found a way to win convincingly against what I consider to be a pretty good football team,” coach Barrett Donahoe said.

The offensive production saw new life with a pair of players, Ryan Brock and Everette Jones, back from injuries. Brock had 12 carries for 89 yards and a touchdown, plus he caught four passes for 42. Jones caught five passes for 46 yards and two touchdowns.
