Lions run past Cougars

The game plan changed in the first quarter Friday night for H.W. Byers.

After quarterback Douglas Hill and wide receiver Lequavius Jenkins went out with injuries at Coldwater, it was time to totally lean on the rushing attack.

“It was real simple – they were either going to stop us or they weren’t,” coach Chris Daniels said. “They knew what was coming. We were just going to line up and run right at them.”
