Lions crush Myrtle 85-28

H.W. Byers boy’s basketball team has won 10 of the last 11 games, and there is no secret. The team is shaping up yet another season that could end in Jackson at the 1A state tournament championship.
Under the direction of coach Fred Stafford, the Lions are demolishing opponent after opponent. The Lions latest victim is Myrtle High School Hawks. The Lions rolled to an 85-28 win.
Jabarri Wright finished with 28 points, and Omarrious Johnson finished with 15 points.
The Lions will travel to Myrtle Friday, Jan. 5.
