Lady Patriots down pair of district foes

Marshall Academy stayed atop the District 1-AA softball race last week with a rout of Oak Hill and a not-so-easy win over Central Holmes.

The Lady Patriots also competed in the Bayou Aca­demy Tournament Saturday.

Alexis McGreger powered the offense in an easy 15-1 victory at Oak Hill Monday, Aug. 21. She was four for four from the plate.

Carlie Vannucci and Erin Lomenick each had two hits, and Hannah Champion and Faith Shankle picked up one hit each.
